Seven Oaks Winery and Vineyard Cottages are situated at the Northern end of the Breedekloof wine region and surrounded by the most majestic mountains. There is beauty to be found in every season, with hot, dry sunshine in the summer, beautiful red-orange and brown colours in the Autumn, snow-capped peaks in the Winter and luscious green leaves and shoots in the Spring. Come and enjoy our friendly and unique hospitality by coming to taste our wines in the Winery or sleeping over in one of our cosy self-catering cottages. Be it alone, or with family and friends. The “Theatre of Aromas” is an intimate space filled with unique aroma-enhancing containers each offering a specific aroma that is associated with those typically found in red and white wine cultivars. In the Theatre of Aromas, visitors can have fun attempting to identify the various aromas, through their olfactory senses, as well as link them to those scents that they find in certain wines. Each aroma is identified by scanning a QR code and comes with an explanation relating to the said aroma. It is an adventure of aroma discovery which is a crucial element of wine appreciation but can also easily be enjoyed by both experts and novices alike. It takes on average, 50 minutes to complete the aroma course and provides for loads of laughter whilst experiencing it, and an excellent conversation afterwards.
