The boutique wine farm Hillock Wines, nestled in the fertile Dwarsrivier valley below the Towerkop mountain near the small town of Ladismith, produces Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and a Hillock personality blend, Barrel Roll. This area is gaining prominence as a wine region, and there are some exciting new producers to look out for. Hillock Wines are produced on the guest farm Mymering. Owner Dr Andy Hillock, a retired surgeon from Port Elizabeth and keen guide on the farm’s picturesque adventure trails with his wife Penny, an accomplished cook, are your hosts.
