Elgin Vintners is situated on the historic Elgin Orchards farm, established in 1890. Nestled in the heart of the Elgin Valley, the estate is surrounded by vineyard sites, apple and pear orchards, and framed by the majestic Kogelberg and Hottentots Holland mountain ranges. The Elgin Valley encompasses approximately 7,000 hectares of farmland, divided among fruit orchards, vineyards, and pine plantations. Elgin Vintners’ vineyards are planted at elevations around 300 meters above sea level, benefiting from the cool climate and diverse terroir of the region.
