A family- and budget-friendly camping spot tucked away in the Du Toitskloof Mountains. The reserve stretches from Franschhoek in the south, eastwards towards Groot Drakenstein, and northwards as far as Voëlvlei Dam and is a World Heritage Site. Offering various activities such as day passes for angling, hiking and walking, picnicking, rock art and swimming. Tweede Tol is a perfect spot for braai and picnicking, but to avoid disappointment we suggest you come early, as day visitors are limited to 120 people per day. Besides nurturing nature, championing our unique ecosystems (such as the Cape Floristic Region), and educating visitors and local communities about how to protect our natural environment, CapeNature offers memorable, authentic eco-tourism experiences to local and international visitors. These vary from adrenaline-filled pursuits such as bouldering, kloofing and kayaking to more leisurely activities like hiking, fishing and whale watching. Come and visit one of our pristine reserves or wilderness areas as a day visitor, or linger for longer in one of our campsites or eco-cabins.
