When I bought Welbedacht and showed my bustling sport mad family the farm they thought I had gone mad. Well just over 20 years later with the Manor home having been fully renovated, our own full-sized cricket field having been built, a 1,000-ton cellar designed and built to suit our fruit, wonderful new vineyards having been planted as well as the resurrection of our 40-year-old vineyards, we call this home and are very proud of it.”
